This Privacy Policy explains how MilitaryPCS LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Military Network LLC ("MilitaryPCS," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use MilitaryPCS.com and related services (collectively, the "Services").

This Privacy Policy applies to military families and consumers, and to professionals and businesses seeking to join our verified network. By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

All Users:

• Name, email address, phone number, mailing address
• Account credentials (username, password)
• Communications you send us, including messages to customer support

Military Families and Consumers:

• Branch of service, rank, duty station history, PCS timeline and orders information (where voluntarily provided)
• Housing preferences, budget, and BAH-related information you choose to share
• Service requests submitted to professionals in our network
• Reviews and ratings you submit about professionals
• Questions and interactions with AI Battle Buddy

Verification Documents (Military Affiliation):

• DD-214 forms, enlistment contracts, commander letters, or other documentation submitted to verify military or military spouse affiliation
• We do not request or accept military identification cards (Common Access Cards or similar) as verification documents.

Professionals and Businesses:

• Professional license numbers and licensing state(s)
• Business name, address, and contact information
• Proof of veteran or military spouse status
• Payment and billing information for membership fees

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information (browser type, operating system, device identifiers)
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent, click patterns)
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 8)

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• Identity verification service providers, to confirm the authenticity of submitted documentation
• Payment processors, to process membership payments
• Publicly available sources, to verify professional licensure status

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Verify military affiliation and professional licensure eligibility
• Connect military families with professionals in our network, at the family's direction
• Operate and improve the Platform, including AI Battle Buddy and the PCS Planner
• Process membership payments and communicate about billing
• Respond to customer support inquiries
• Send account-related, transactional, and (where you have not opted out) marketing communications
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
• Comply with legal obligations
• Improve and train the systems underlying AI Battle Buddy, using de-identified or aggregated data where feasible

We do not sell, auction, or broker your personal information or service requests to professionals or businesses. You control which professionals you contact.

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

With Professionals You Contact. When you reach out to a professional or business through the Platform, we share the information necessary to facilitate that connection (e.g., your name, contact information, and the details of your request).

Service Providers. We share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including:

• Identity/document verification providers
• Payment processors
• Cloud hosting and data storage providers
• Customer support tools
• Analytics providers

AI Battle Buddy. Questions and interactions with AI Battle Buddy may be processed by third-party AI service providers to generate responses.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of MilitaryPCS, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers. If MilitaryPCS or Military Network LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a policy at least as protective.

With Your Consent. We may share information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

We do not share your verification documents (DD-214s, enlistment contracts, commander letters) with professionals, other users, or third parties, except with the identity verification service providers described above, or as required by law.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Verification Documents. Documents submitted to verify military affiliation are retained only as long as necessary to complete and maintain verification, after which they are securely deleted or archived in accordance with our data retention schedule.

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive documents such as DD-214s and enlistment records, and access controls limiting who within MilitaryPCS can view verification documents.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Access and Correction. You may access and update most of your account information directly through your account settings.

Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information by contacting us at privacy@militarypcs.com. We will delete your information except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, dispute resolution).

Marketing Opt-Out. You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe link in any email, and opt out of marketing texts by replying "STOP." You cannot opt out of transactional or account-related communications necessary to provide the Services.

State-Specific Privacy Rights. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of certain uses of your information (such as targeted advertising or the sale of personal information, though MilitaryPCS does not sell personal information as defined under applicable state privacy laws).

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, analyze usage, and (where applicable) support marketing efforts. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect Platform functionality.

The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 18, please contact us so we can delete it.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, including government resources and the independent websites of professionals in our network. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy practices of any third-party site you visit.

AI Battle Buddy uses artificial intelligence to generate responses to your questions. Your conversations with AI Battle Buddy may be stored, reviewed, and used to improve the Service. Information you share with AI Battle Buddy is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We do not use AI Battle Buddy to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you (such as determining eligibility for a loan or insurance product) without human involvement.

The Services are intended for users located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email where required by law.
